Eden Prairie vs. Wayzata
5 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 14

Eden Prairie travels to Wayzata on Tuesday, looking for its first Lake Conference win.

The Eagles (4-1, 0-1) lost to Minnetonka 1-0 in their conference opener, their only loss of the season. The Trojans will be a big test for Eden Prairie, especially for Eagles goalkeeper Michael Goergen. He’s made eight saves this season and also scored a goal in a 3-1 win over Eagan.

This is one of nine games the Trojans (6-0-1, 1-0-1) play against top-10 Class 2A opponents. The tough schedule hasn’t slowed them down, as they've won six of seven contests. The only non-win came in a 1-1 draw against No. 3-2A Edina. The Trojans potent offense has 31 goals this season, 27 of which were assisted. Patrick Weah and Erik Williams have led the way, both boasting a team-high seven assists.
