St. Paul Como Park at St. Paul Washington Technology Magnet
5 p.m., Friday, Sept. 9

St. Paul Washington Technology Magnet has already matched last year’s win total and has an opportunity to knock off defending Class 1A, Section 4 champion St. Paul Como Park on Friday night.

The Eagles (4-0) have yet to shut out an opponent this season, but they have made up for it with a potent offense. Washington has scored at least three goals in four victories this season -- including a 6-2 victory over Columbia Heights last week -- to build an 18-5 scoring advantage over foes.

Bwe Doh Htoo scored twice for Como Park in a 4-0 victory over Fridley last Thursday, giving him a team-high four goals on the season and helping the No. 8-1A Cougars (3-0) outscore their competition 9-2 this fall.

The teams met in last year’s section semifinals, where Como Park won 3-2 and eventually advanced to its fourth consecutive state tournament.
