St. Francis at Anoka
7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 26

Alexis Lustoff and Mara Furrer have given St. Francis quite the scoring punch this season. Lustoff has eight goals and Furrer has seven to lead the Fighting Saints, who got off to an 8-0 start before dropping a 3-1 game to Duluth East. Sammie Zgutowicz scored for St. Francis in the loss.

St. Francis (8-1, 3-0) had allowed just two goals in its previous eight games with Morgan Hoppe in goal.

The Fighting Saints will get their biggest challenge of the season with a game against Anoka (6-1-1, 5-1) in a battle for the No. 1 seed in the Class 2A, Section 7 playoffs.

Cassie Giddings (7G, 3A) and Sydney Randall (6G, 4A) have helped guide the Tornadoes to an equally impressive start. Totino-Grace defeated Anoka 2-1, the Tornadoes only loss on the season.
