Eagan at Burnsville
5 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 24

Burnsville has been tested with several tight games this season. The No. 4-2A Blaze (6-1-1, 3-1) have three 1-0 victories, a 1-1 tie with No. 3-2A Mounds View and a 2-1 win over Eastview.

No. 2-2A Lakeville North beat Burnsville 2-0 Sept. 17 to give the Blaze their first loss of the season.

Ashley St. Aubin leads Burnsville with four goals and Lauren Lafavre has two after both scored in a 2-0 win at Owatonna on Sept. 12.

Eagan and Prior Lake played to a 0-0 draw on Sept. 15, the first time the Wildcats have been shut out since Oct. 13, 2013. Their response: a 7-0 rout over Lakeville South.

Eagan, which ranks third in the USA Today/National Soccer Coaches Association of America poll, knocked off the Blaze twice last season, including 2-1 in the section championship.

The Wildcats (8-0-1, 3-0-1) have allowed just three goals this season.
