Holy Angels shot up the rankings in Class 1A last week, and did so for good reason. The Stars have started the season 7-0-2, shut out four opponents and routed No. 6-1A Benilde-St. Margaret’s 5-1. Holy Angels has received the ultimate validation of its success, earning the No. 1 ranking in this week's poll. 

Ben Becker and Abraham Sanchez have been a big reason for the Stars’ rise. Becker has 12 goals and Sanchez has seven to lead the team.

Holy Angels will face a Minneapolis Washburn team that has performed well against tough opponents. The Millers (4-2-2) tied Rochester Lourdes 1-1 and beat a previously ranked DeLaSalle squad 1-0.
