Mounds View at East Ridge
7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 22

Mounds View and East Ridge are not only two of the state's top-ranked teams but also two of best in the Suburban East Conference.

The No. 4-2A Raptors (5-1-1, 2-0-1) are the defending league champion and trying to repeat this season in an increasingly difficult race that includes the No. 6-2A Mustangs (6-1-1, 2-0), No. 8-2A Stillwater and Cretin-Derham Hall. None of the teams have a conference loss and are jockeying for position at the top of the league standings.

Mounds View dropped its first game of the season, falling to No. 3-2A Park Center 4-1 on Sept. 19.

East Ridge knocked off school district rival Woodbury 2-0 on Tuesday behind two goals from Jarrod Ronquillo, who has nine on the season.
