Boys' soccer Player of the Week revealed

Player of the Week winner

Jonas Kazlauskas, Roseville. The midfielder's hat trick helped Roseville beat Eagan 5-3 on Sept. 30. He scored five goals and provided two assists in three games.

Player of the Week candidates

Brandt Belisle, St. Croix Prep. Belisle had a pair of four-goal games during the week, as well as three assists. The junior leads St. Croix Prep in goals (18) and assists (8) this season.

Justice Goben, Minnehaha Academy. Goben, a goalkeeper, stopped 12 shots in Minnehaha Academy's 1-0 win against Byron on Sept. 30. The sophomore kept two clean sheets as the Redhawks went 2-1 this week.

Christian Babo, Orono. Babo was involved in all four of Orono's goals in a 4-4 tie with Holy Family. He scored a hat trick and assisted once in the match. The senior midfielder is one of the top providers in the state, as he has 12 assists this season.

Daniel Wee, Prior Lake. Wee produced four goals and three assists last week, which helped Prior Lake to a 3-0 record. The senior is among the top distributors in the state with 12 assists this year.
