The Suburban East Conference title race remains tight between Stillwater and White Bear Lake, but don't write-off Mounds View just yet.

The Mustangs (9-2, 3-1) are tied with East Ridge for third place in the standings following a 1-0 loss to the Raptors on Sept. 19. However, they face league leaders Stillwater and White Bear Lake this week, and a pair of wins would put Mounds View back into conference title contention.

Stillwater, which won last year’s conference crown, tries to maintain its position atop the standings while playing the toughest stretch of its season this week. The Ponies (8-1-1, 5-0) face East Ridge, Mounds View and a nonconference game against Burnsville.

All three matchups could be a potential pick for Top Game of the Week, but we’re going with Stillwater’s meeting with Mounds View.
