Class 1A

Orono remains on top of this week's coaches' poll rankings, but there is a new runner-up, as Totino-Grace jumped Blake to earn the No. 2 spot. Blake sits at No. 3.

The Eagles have won all five games this season, and they've outscored opponents by a combined 17-1. They haven't allowed a goal since their opening game against Anoka.

Austin was the only new team in the top ten this week in Class 1A, as they jumped to the No. 8 spot. The Packers have won all four of their games this season, and they ended last week with a dominant 6-0 win against Mankato West.

Breck started the year ranked No. 2 in Class 1A, but it has struggled to get winning results. This week, the Mustangs, for the first time this season, dropped out of the top 10.

Class 2A

The top five spots of the Class 2A rankings are identical to last week, and for good reason: The five teams — Stillwater, Wayzata, Edina, Minneapolis Washburn and Duluth East — have a combined 30-0-5 record this season. The only team that has yet to drop a point is No. 5-ranked Duluth East (7-0-0).

White Bear Lake jumped to No. 8 this week after being on the fringe of the top 10 last week. The Bears played three games last week and recorded clean sheets in all three.

The other new entry into the top 10 this week is Maple Grove, which is tied with Roseville for the No. 10 ranking. The Crimson are one of seven undefeated teams featured in this week’s top ten. Maple Grove forwards Jeff Clune and Alex Downing have combined to score 11 goals this season.
