This week's top game is a replay of last year’s Class 2A, Section 3 championship, in which Rosemount upset Park of Cottage Grove 2-1.
The Wolfpack, who also defeated the Irish 2-1 in the regular season, entered the playoffs as the top seed, but could not hold a lead in the section title game as the sixth-seeded Irish rallied from a 1-0 deficit to win and advance to the state tournament.
Rosemount's state tournament appearance was its second in school history and came after a 0-5 start to the season. The Irish went on a tear in the section tournament, knocking off the top three seeds.
