Minnetonka, ranked No. 1 in Class 2A in the Minnesota State High School Soccer Coaching Association's preseason poll, and 2014 Star Tribune Metro Player of the Year Suad Suljic open the season with No. 6-2A Eagan. The Skippers are seeking a return trip to the state tournament after a last-minute goal by Anoka eliminated them in the quarterfinals last year.
Suljic returns for his senior season after scoring 18 goals and tallying 14 assists in leading Minnetonka to a 16-1-2 record while earning the Gatorade Player of the Year for Minnesota and All-American honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
