FORWARDS/MIDFIELDERS

Sophie Babo, Orono: Physical player with a booming shot. Won Ms. Soccer in Class 1A.

April Bockin, Eden Prairie: Star Tribune Metro Player of the Year and future Gophers player scored 17 goals against a tough regular-season schedule.

Morgan Cottew, Washburn: Prolific goal scorer found the back of the net 22 times for the undefeated Millers.

Chelsey Henry, Mahtomedi: Iowa-bound forward controls the action with superior tactical and technical skills.

Britney Monteon, Blaine: Returned from a knee injury to reclaim place among most dangerous scoring threats.

Kaija Ornes, Prior Lake: Fast, skilled and extremely competitive. Ms. Soccer finalist.

Lizzie Schneeman, Cretin-Derham Hall: Improved vision and playmaking added to her game. Committed to Notre Dame.

 

DEFENDERS

Mia Giorgi, Eastview, jr.: Skilled and composed on the ball.

Ashley Osmek, Centennial: Refused to lose the ball. Tough to beat one on one.

Annie Williams, Park of Cottage Grove: Shuts down the state’s best attackers.

 

GOALKEEPER

Morgan Wirz, Centennial: Backbone of Cougars’ team that posted 13 shutouts and allowed just five goals.
