Erin Booth scored a goal and added two assists to lead the Bemidji girls soccer team to a 4-0 victory over Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Saturday in the Lumberjacks’ home opener.
Saturday’s win came off the heels of Friday’s 7-0 triumph at Little Falls. The competition is expected to improve Tuesday, however, as BHS visits Detroit Lakes in a rematch of last year’s Section 8A quarterfinal battle which the Lakers won 2-1 in a shootout.
