Eastview vs. Farmington
7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4

Eastview has posted back-to-back draws and needs some help to contend for a title in an ultra-competitive South Suburban Conference.

The No. 10-2A Lightning (6-3-3, 4-1-2) enter the week tied with Rosemount for third place in the conference standings behind Lakeville North and Eagan.

Eastview is in the midst of a three-game scoreless streak, one that comes after a tallying four goals in three consecutive games, including a 4-0 win over No. 6-2A Eagan on Sept. 13.

Farmington (4-5-3, 1-3-2) can play spoiler, and though it hasn’t gotten results in South Suburban Conference play, it’s certainly capable of taking a game off of any team.

The Tigers have played four overtime games this season, three of them in conference play. Farmington is coming off a 2-1 overtime loss to Eagan and will close out the season against Lakeville North, the current South Suburban leader.
