Bloomington Kennedy vs. Bloomington Jefferson
4:45 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 6

Bloomington Jefferson and Bloomington Kennedy haven’t lost a game in the Metro West Conference, meaning Thursday's matchup will be the culmination of two highly successful seasons.

The Jaguars can secure the league title with a win over Chaska on Tuesday, but the Eagles don’t need a trophy to be fired up for the game against their crosstown rival.

Jefferson (9-2-2, 5-0-0) has only lost to Lake Conference teams -- Eden Prairie and No. 5-2A Edina -- while holding another Lake powerhouse, No. 2-2A Wayzata, to a scoreless tie.

Kennedy hasn’t lost a game since a 2-1 decision to St. Paul Highland Park -- the last time the Eagles (8-2-4, 4-0-2) allowed multiple goals in a game.

Since that loss, Kennedy has allow just three total goals and notching seven shut outs while compiling a 7-0-3 record.
