Park Center at Blaine
5 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 27

Park Center is in the pole position in the Northwest Suburban Conference title race, but the Pirates must fend off Blaine to maintain their minimal lead over Anoka and Totino-Grace in the lead standings heading down the home stretch of the season.

Park Center's diverse attack is fueled by state assists leader Fuad Tahir, who has 14 on the year. He is one of five players with four or more assists, which has helped spread around the scoring. Seven players have multiple goals, led by Justin Naklen's seven. The balance on offense is one reason the No. 5-2A Pirates (10-1-1, 7-1-1) are riding an eight-game winning streak.

Blaine (7-4-1, 5-3-1) has already matched last year’s win total, and with a victory over Park Center, the Bengals can avenge a 7-0 loss from a season ago.

Michael Hoberg and Brandon Olson lead the Bengals with 21 and 15 points, respectively.
