St. Paul Central at St. Paul Academy
4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 27

A one mile stretch of Lexington Parkway is all that separates these two St. Paul schools, and the fact that this is a public versus private school affair should add even more friction to a rivalry between teams that have put together tremendous seasons so far.

St. Paul Central dropped its season opener to No. 1-2A Stillwater 6-1 but bounced back to win seven games in a row. The Minutemen (7-1) were impressive last week, winning four one-goal games.

St. Paul Academy has been in control at both ends of the pitch this season, tallying eight shutouts while averaging 3.1 goals per game.

Eli Goldman has 11 goals and seven assists for the No. 8-1A Spartans (9-2) while Eric Lagos has 10 goals and seven assists.
