Edina at Prior Lake
7 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 30

Sarah Doran’s two second-half goals gave Edina a 2-1 victory over Chanhassen in the first game of the season.

The senior attacker and all-state second team selection led the Hornets with eight goals and four assists last year and is joined by midfielder Eva Anderson, an all-state first team pick, on the Hornets roster.

Prior Lake (1-1) meets Edina (2-0) for the first time since falling to the Hornets 3-0 in the Class 2A, Section 2 playoffs a year ago.

The Lakers look to avoid a repeat in the regular season behind the play of Paige Pribble, who tallied the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Hill-Murray in the opener.

Prior Lake also features midfielder and South Dakota State recruit Mikayla Hughes and Allie Bollinger, who scored four goals last season.
