Torino-Grace at North St. Paul
7 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 30

Totino-Grace lost its season-opener to No. 6-3A Roseville in straight sets, but the Eagles could make some early season progress if they can defeat Class 3A, Section 4 rival North St. Paul.

Outside hitter Eliza Dahly (233 kills, 313 digs) and 6-foot-1 middle hitter Isabel Sommers (253 kills) are back after the seniors put together all-Northwest Suburban Conference campaigns last year.

North St. Paul scored a key early victory with a 25-23, 25-17, 16-25, 25-17 win over Moorhead in the opener. The No. 10-3A Polars could be in line for their first trip to the state tournament behind a deep and balanced lineup.

Junior outside hitter Sophie Cave (247 kills, 275 digs) returns with fellow all-Metro East Conference picks in senior setter Megan Rubbelke (193 digs) and 6-foot-2 senior right side hitter Concordia (St. Paul) commit Rachel Tschida (215 kills).
