Three all-Lake Conference standouts return to the court for Minnetonka in the season opener against Champlin Park

The Skippers are another team blessed with height, as 6-foot senior middle hitter Emma Alberts, 6-3 junior middle hitter Katelyn Lannom and 6-2 outside hitter Annabelle Lohrenz are back from last year's 19-12 team.

The No. 4-3A Rebels lost all-state selection Jenae Alderson, but Sydney Hilley (517 kills, 290 digs, 463 assists) is back for her senior season.

The outside hitter recorded her 1,000th career kill during as a junior and is expected to break the school record for kills early this year.

Sophomore setter Izzy Ashburn (726 assists), an All-Northwest Suburban Conference selection last year, will be key in helping Hilley achieve the milestone.
