Wayzata leads the Lake Conference with a 5-1 record and two regular-season games remaining. The No. 6-2A Trojans (10-3-1) can take a big step in securing a league championship with a win over second-place Eden Prairie.

Wayzata picked up shutout victories over over Hopkins (3-0) and Mankato West (5-0) after losing back-to-back games against Cretin-Derham Hall and Edina.

The Trojans won the first meeting of the season with the Eagles 1-0 on Sept. 17, handing Eden Prairie its second consecutive loss.

The Eagles (8-3-2, 3-1-2) went 4-1-1 following the loss, losing only to No. 2-2A Mounds View 2-0 on Oct. 3.

Eden Prairie has yet to score more than three goals in a game but has eight shutouts this season.
