Academy of Holy Angels at St. Agnes

Holy Angels picked up two big wins over Class 1A ranked opponents last week when it defeated No. 6 Visitation 2-1 and No. 7 DeLaSalle 2-1. The No. 4-1A Stars (10-2-2, 6-0) can officially wrap up the Tri-Metro Conference title with a win over St. Agnes.

Holy Angels has not lost a conference matchup since joining the Tri-Metro Conference last year, a streak of 13 games.

The Stars feature junior midfielder Megan Thompson, who has flown under the radar as a holding midfielder.

Emma O’Brien leads Holy Angels with 14 goals while Gabi Reynolds has nine. Six other players have three or more goals on the season.

St. Agnes (11-2, 4-2) has losses to DeLaSalle and Visitation.

Maria Turch leads the Aggies with 21 goals. The senior forward has eight multi-goal games this season, including four three-goal performances. Maureen Sullivan has 14 goals and 11 assists as well.
