Burnsville at Prior Lake
5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 1

Burnsville has dropped three of its last four games after opening the season with a 6-0-1 mark. The Blaze lost to No. 2-2A Lakeville North (2-0), No. 1-2A Eagan (1-0) and No. 10-2A Minneapolis Washburn (4-0).

Burnsville (7-3-1, 3-2) rebounded with a 2-1 win over Andover on Sept. 26 when Lauren Lafavre scored twice in the second half to erase a 1-0 halftime deficit.

Lafavre and Ashley St. Aubin each have four goals this season for the No. 7-2A Blaze, who have struggled to score at times and has just 13 goals.

Prior Lake has found itself in a rut lately because of an equally challenging schedule. Since tying No. 1-2A Eagan 0-0, the Lakers (4-4-4, 2-1-2) have gone 1-3 with 2-0 losses to No. 5-2A Wayzata and No. 2-2A Lakeville North. Prior Lake also dropped a 3-0 game against No. 4-2A Eden Prairie on Sept. 26.

Hannah Caldwell has five goals and Allie Bollinger has four to lead the Lakers in scoring.
