Rosemount is on a 10-game unbeaten streak with draws against No. 10-2A Prior Lake (0-0), East Ridge (2-2), Lakeville South (0-0) and No. 8-2A Eastview (1-1).

All-state second team goalkeeper Jess Ojala has helped keep the No. 12-2A Irish (5-0-4, 2-0-3) in games.

Rosemount will get tested in a matchup with South Suburban Conference foe No. 2-2A Lakeville North (9-1, 4-1).

The Panthers won last year’s meeting 3-0, but the Irish recorded a 2-0 victory the year before.

Jasmine Finley scored the equalizer in the 58th minute to give the Irish a 1-1 tie with Eastview on Sept. 24. The Lightning led 1-0 at halftime.

Lakeville North has continued to pile up the shutouts behind a stout back line that includes junior Temi Carda and Stephanie Schaffer and Taylor Lock in goal. The Panthers have held seven opponents scoreless and have given up just three goals, two of which came in a 2-1 loss to No. 1-2A Eagan on Sept. 10.

Alexis Tousignant and Hannah Cade, who were named to the Class 2A all-tournament team last year, have helped fuel the offense. Tousignant has six goals to lead the team while Cade has three goals and a team-high eight assists. Tousignant scored twice and Cade had a goal in a 3-0 win over Hill-Murray on Sept. 26.
