Sartell-St. Stephen at St. Cloud Tech
7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 29

St. Cloud Tech gets a chance to put some distance between it and Sartell-St. Stephen in the Central Lakes Conference standings when they meet on Tuesday.

The Tigers (8-1-1, 5-0-1) are undefeated in league play after beating rival and defending Class 1A state champion St. Cloud Apollo 4-2 on Sept. 17.

The Sabres (8-1-2, 6-1-1) sit a game behind after a 3-0 loss to St. Cloud Tech in the second game.

The Tigers swept last year's season series (1-0 and 3-0).

Cullen Chisholm and Kempton Schneider continue to pace the Sabres. Chisholm leads the team with 12 goals, including eight in his last three games. He scored twice  in a 3-1 win over St. Cloud Apollo on Sept. 22 and both goals in a 2-0 win over Moorhead four days later.

Schneider has 10 goals and six assists.

Mohamud Aden scored the lone goal for St. Cloud Tech in a pivotal 1-0 win over Willmar on Sept. 24 to maintain its lead in the conference.
