Forest Lake cracked the top 10 in last week’s Class 2A coaches' poll after putting together an 8-1 start. The No. 7 Rangers then split games with two Suburban East Conference contenders.

Forest Lake defeated No. 4-2A East Ridge 1-0 win on Sept. 24 but fell to Roseville 3-0 on Sept. 22. The Rangers also lost to No. 6-2A Mounds 4-1 on Sept. 8.
