Rosemount at Lakeville North
5 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 29

Rosemount’s 3-0 loss to Eastview on Sept. 24 ended a season-opening nine-game unbeaten streak.

The Irish (7-2-2) will start the second-to-last week of the regular season against a Lakeville North squad playing well.

The Panthers (6-4-2, 3-2) have gone 3-1-1 in their last five games and have a chance to put themselves in contention for the South Suburban Conference title with a win. Lakeville North already has defeated one of the league's top teams, recording a 3-0 win over Burnsville on Sept. 17.

Rosemount, Eagan and Burnsville each have one loss in the conference.

Isaac Fennewald leads the Panthers with five goals and three assists. Nate Hyden has three goals and four assists while three others have two goals apiece.

Lakeville North has four consecutive 1-0 victories (from 2009-2012) against Rosemount. The Irish won 1-0 in 2013 and the teams tied 0-0 last year.
