Roseville (4-2, 0-1) lost its conference opener to Woodbury 3-2 in overtime on Sept. 10, the second consecutive defeat for the Raiders, who fell to No. 9-2A Wayzata 1-0 on Sept. 8. Roseville ended the skid with a 4-1 win over Robbinsdale Cooper on Sept. 12, led by Peter Keel's two goals. Win Thein and Victor Vang each added a goal in win.

Keel leads the Raiders with six goals while Bill Robertson has four and Jonathan Vu has three. Thein and Alexis Morals have two goals apiece for Roseville, which opened the season with three straight wins, including a 3-1 victory over Centennial and a 4-0 win over Eastview. 

Mounds View (5-0-1, 1-0) moved from No. 10 to No. 3 in the Class 2A coaches’ poll this week and has shown some prolific scoring capabilities. The Mustangs have won three games by a score of 4-1 and have an 11-0 win over Grand Rapids.
