St. Paul Academy at Visitation

St. Paul Academy travels to Visitation in a rematch of last year’s Class 1A, Section 3 quarterfinals. The Blazers won 3-2 in overtime. 

No. 5-1A Visitation continued its winning ways with a 2-1 victory at Duluth Marshall on Aug. 29 and will look to all-state second team attacker Maggie Conners for offense this season.

The No. 4-1A Spartans bring back second team all-state attacker Lauren Hansen, who had a goal in a 4-2 loss to South St. Paul on Aug. 29. Forward Hayley Hoffmann also scored for St. Paul Academy, which trailed 2-0 at halftime.

The Spartans lost to No. 7-2A Wayzata 6-2 in the season opener.
