Maple Grove at Blaine

Maple Grove and Blaine have one of the better rivalries in the Northwest Suburban Conference and are battling for position in the league standings behind Centennial (11-1-2, 9-9-1).

The Crimson (10-2-1), ranked No. 7 in Class 2A, are 9-2-0 in the the conference with two games remaining including the matchup with the Bengals (10-2-2), who are 8-1-2 with two games to play. 

Blaine has been stellar on defense the last month, allowing four goals in its last nine games. Britney Monteon leads the Bengals' offense with 19 goals, placing the senior forward in a tie for fifth on the state's scoring list.

Junior forward Breanna Johnson leads Maple Grove with seven goals.
