Eastview at Lakeville North
7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 30

It's easy to overlook Lakeville North's matchup on Tuesday with Eastview, as all eyes on Eastview's big showdown with Prior Lake on Thursday. The Panthers, however, are in the race for a South Suburban Conference title with a 6-1 league record and will move closer to capturing the championship with a victory over the Lightning, No. 2 in Class 2A.

Lakeville North (9-2-1, 6-1) also needs some help from Farmington and Apple Valley, as both play Eagan this week. The Wildcats are tied with the Lightning atop the league standings.

The Panthers are playing well on defense, allowing one goal in their last seven games and eight total this season. Alexis Tousignant is Lakeville North's offensive leader. The junior has seven goals this season.

Sophomore midfielder Haley Ford has a team-high five goals for Eastview (12-0-2, 6-0-1), a team also playing well on defense. The Lightning have allowed three goals this season. Add Page Element
