Eastview at Prior Lake
7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 2

Eastview (12-0-2, 6-0-1) is ranked No. 2 in Class 2A and needs to defeat Lakeville North and Prior Lake to be in a position to claim the South Suburban Conference crown or share it with the Wildcats. Eastview and Eagan, No. 1-2A, are tied atop the league's standings entering this week.

Prior Lake (10-3-1, 4-2-1), No. 5-2A, could move into contention for a conference title by winning its next two games, including its matchup with Eastview, and getting some help from Farmington and Apple Valley.

The Lakers' defense is key in stopping the Lightning. Prior Lake has allowed six goals all season. Senior midfielder Emily Peterson leads the Lightning with 10 goals.

Eastview is stingy on defense, as well. The Lightning have given up three goals this season.  Their offense, however, is not as potent as the Lakers. Sophomore midfielder Haley Ford has a team-high five goals.
