Kasson-Mantorville at Kenyon-Wanamingo
7:15 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 30

Kenyon-Wanamingo hosts Kasson-Mantorville on Tuesday in a match featuring two of the top teams in the Hiawatha Valley League.

The KoMets, No. 3-2A, have won 11 consecutive matches while the Knights have lost once before entering last Saturday’s Chanhassen Tournament. A victory would provide a big boost to either team, as both are competing against perennial juggernaut Stewartville, No. 1 in Class 2A. The Tigers handed the KoMets their only league loss on Sept. 9.

Kasson-Mantorville graduated All-State middle hitter Brooklyn Lewis from last year’s state tournament team but returned junior setter Lilly Braun and senior libero Cori Kennedy.

Kenyon-Wanamingo has an athletic group led by Megan Quam and Brittney Flom, members of the Knights' state tournament basketball team last winter.
