Hopkins at Minnetonka
5 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 18

Hopkins heads to Minnetonka where the Royals have an opportunity to make a splash in the Lake Conference with a victory over the Skippers, Class 2A's No. 1 team.

Hopkins (6-1-2), No. 7, can take a page from Edina's game plan for Minnetonka as the Hornets held Skippers' junior forward Suad Suljic in check for most of the game. However, Suljic won't be easy to contain. The state's second-leading scorer broke through in overtime against Edina and found a way to slide in the game-winning goal.

Minnetonka can't look past Hopkins. The Royals only loss the season was to the Skippers on Sept. 2.
