Mahtomedi (No. 10 in Class 2A) and Stillwater (4-1-0) have been perennial powers of the East metro.

For years, the Zephyrs (4-2-0) and Ponies (4-1-0) were in different classes but Mahtomedi has moved up and both are now Class 2A rivals. Jaime Purdie and Rachel Glenna are among Stillwater's top scorers.
