Mounds View (3-1-0) bounced back after a 2-0 loss to Burnsville with an impressive 4-3 win against Mahtomedi. The Mustangs (No. 2 in Class 2A) now face Maple Grove (3-0-0). The Crimson are second-ranked in Class 2A and were perfect in conference play last week. Maple Grove ends the week with a nonconference test, one that will show if the Crimson still belong among the state's Top 10.
