In a matchup that would be a classic on the ice rink, Bloomington Jefferson faces Edina. But this time it's taking place on the pitch, as No. 7 Bloomington Jefferson and No. 3 Edina will battle in a nonconference game on Thursday.

The Jaguars are 1-1-0 with their loss coming to Mahtomedi. Bloomington Jefferson recovered nicely by taking down Minneapolis South 1-0. Edina was businesslike in its season opener, a 4-1 victory against Rosemount.
